Parking

I thought, rather than disturbing my jet lagged husband who is now back from America, I would sneak out early to Richmond Park and do a big walk. However, I stupidly took the dog who not only stopped at every lamp post on the way to the park but he then dived into the muddiest pond in pursuit of a very angry swan. He then felt crotchety and wet and muddy and wanted to go home. Result: a short walk to Sheen Gate and back. One day I will do a circuit of the entire park but I probably need to work up to that gradually. I am trying to get the clothing right. I am always too hot or too cold when walking. Too hot is OK as you can take something off and carry it. Note to self: wear a backpack containing sweater and waterproof.
